As to ATM's and automatic checkout's - I refuse to use them. Guess that makes me the Watson to everyone else's Holmes. That, after all, is not such a bad thing to be.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02817835170661422604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6512050174377678428.post-21173472832453865312013-07-04T00:32:57.785-05:002013-07-04T00:32:57.785-05:00Ah, 'tis sad, but true.Ah, 'tis sad, but true.Sherlock Peoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09896656391037436805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6512050174377678428.post-56854778001958398822013-07-04T00:23:49.423-05:002013-07-04T00:23:49.423-05:00You may find this interesting: http://badassdigest...You may find this interesting: http://badassdigest.com/2013/06/27/where-have-all-the-heroes-gone/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04066417080920042579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6512050174377678428.post-63655020025791190292013-07-03T22:56:28.523-05:002013-07-03T22:56:28.523-05:00That's exactly *it*! All my life I've been...That's exactly *it*! All my life I've been known to cry out in exasperation, "I'm surrounded by idiots!" Because I could see it (whatever it was) and they (whoever they were) couldn't.

And that's not intellectual snobbery, it's exactly the opposite. It's humility. Because you think you're standard and everyone else must be at least as clever as you. So why are other people so awfully slow? Clearly they're out to make your life difficult for you.

It took me quite a while to understand that my class mates, family, friends, whatever, were not willfully frustrating me, but really couldn't see "it". But it still frustrates me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04066417080920042579noreply@blogger.com
